Welcome to your child’s 2nd-grade class! My name is Geneen Caskey and I am very excited your child is in my class this year.  I was raised in Canyon Country and attended Sulphur Springs Elementary School.  It’s such a special place...I was even able to bring my pony for pet day!  I love that I am teaching in the same district that I grew up in.  I began my teaching career in 1996 in the Saugus School District.  Wanting to return to my childhood district, I started at Pinetree Elementary School in 1997.  From there, I moved to Leona Cox and then to Golden Oak.  I am very excited to be back at Pinetree.  I have two amazing Golden Retrievers named Dennis and Charlie.  In my spare time, I love anything outdoors, especially hiking, biking, and the beach.  And...anyone of those combined.  I love teaching because children see adventure in EVERYTHING.
